We are a Non profit organization
Shadia Autism Learning Foundation (SALF) is a dedicated non governmental organization committed to supporting children with disabilities by providing tailored interventions that empower them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. So far our center have gathered 45 children with disabilities and we believe that every child, regardless of their challenges, has the potential to thrive with the right support. Our work focuses on addressing the needs of children with special requirements such as autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, delayed development, Down syndrome, and speech impairments. At SALF, we provide a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our children. These include occupational therapy to enhance daily living skills, speech therapy to improve communication, behavioral interventions to promote positive social interactions, special education for personalized learning, and vocational training to equip children with skills for independence. Our dedicated team of professionals ensures that each child receives individualized care in a supportive and inclusive environment. Operating nationally from our headquarters in Kimara stop over, Dar es Salaam, SALF is driven by a vision to create a society where children with disabilities are valued and integrated members of their communities. With compassion and expertise, we strive to eliminate stigma and ensure that every child we serve has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The mission is to ensure children with disabilities will be early identified, properly assessed, given early and quality intervention and finally become valued member of their community.
